How to optimize your learning
Time. All I ask from you is for you to make time (about 30 minutes a day on average) to scour through every single video, assignment, and practice test associated with each lecture.
Take advantage of the comments section under each video. If you post something, I will be notified of it and will respond to you as soon as possible. I'll give as thorough and concise of a response as possible, and possibly link you to extra practice if you need any.
Schedule your free tutoring session that comes with your package before important test dates (*If you're going with the subscription-based plan, the free tutoring session does not roll over to the next month, so you must use it in the month that you're subscribed for.)
If an explanation is not up to your standards, I will make additional videos and upload them within 48 hours.
Manage your stress level. Keep in mind that you only (I say this loosely) need about 63% correct to get a 5 on the exam. While you do have to fight for every point on the exam, it's not going to be the end of the world if you have to B.S. through some questions. You don't have to be an absolute perfectionist to score a 5 on the exam.
And most importantly, START looking at practice tests as EARLY as possible even if you haven't covered all the materials. One of the best ways to learn Calculus (and everything in school really) is to acquaint yourself with the types of questions they ask and find your weaknesses early. Going over corrections for questions you haven't learned yet could feel like a waste of time, but trust me, it is not. With each question, if you go to the corresponding chapters associated with the questions and read up on the concept, you will take something away from it. Over time, with repetition, this will become your knowledge.
I firmly believe that you will be transformed by the end of this course. With that being said, don't skip out on any of the lectures and assignments (emphasis on this) and you'll be in great shape.
Best wishes on your journey to a 5. I have full confidence in you.
-David
